Job description
Skill
set:
GIS/SI:
·
Should
have worked on SI 5.x.x and also have exposure to GIS 4.3
·
Needs
to have hands on experience with SI mapping tool.
·
Should
have AS2 configuration and analysis experience
·
Should
have experience in writing SI business process.
·
Should
be able to write maps to and from SQL and DB2 database.
UNIX:
·
Should
have basic LINUX skill set
SAP:
·
Needs
good experience with SAP.
·
Understand
basic SAP business process flow across all modules.
·
Have
good experience with SAP integration and also have worked on different SAP
integration systems.
·
Needs
exposure to output conditions and the related setups.
Primary
responsibilities:
·
Use
Sterling Commerce’s Sterling Integrator Map Editor (v.5.3) to develop and test
new maps, and implement changes to existing maps. This experience will include
at least the following (ANSI X12 standard) using the following file format for
electronic communication:

Functional
knowledge of EDI (ANSI X 12 standards)
·
Have
mapping experience of different file formats to and from SAP not just limited
to X12.
·
Integrate
EDI transactions inbound and outbound with SAP (v ECC 6.0)
·
Working
experience of AS2 in a SI environment
·
Have
worked with the perimeter server and their associated firewall rules.
·
Work
with IDOC configuration.
·
Design
and develop new EDI transactions and on board new EDI trading partners in SI.
·
Serve
as a business facing system analyst.
·
Create
Functional and Technical requirements.
·
Coordinate
with the offshore support on day to day issues
·
Assists
in development and implementation of an EDI strategy to support organizational
initiatives.
·
Manages
& leads EDI projects including documentation, quality assurance, and
implementation support.
·
Creates
clear and attainable project objectives, building project requirements and
managing the triple constraints for projects (Cost, Time & Scope).
·
Develop
and maintain automated data feeds between SAP & Legacy applications.
·
Work
with both internal and external stakeholders, including trading partners,
customer service finance and distribution.
·
Work
with IT leadership team to translate implications of the new trends into an
effective technology vision and strategy.
·
Manage
the underlying technical application architecture and the tools used to develop
new / enhanced functionality or interface the application.
·
Look
forward to define skill set requirements for future projects and make decision
regarding the retaining of internal resources or looking externally.
