We need a SQL Developer

Location: Irvine TX

Duration: 6 Months

Rate: Keep it low

Job description

•       Analyze existing database architecture, data flow, and document each object/activity; and provide documentation to Client, in accordance with Client documentation standards.

•       Confirm to existing coding/documenting standards by eliminating hard coded routines and replace with dynamic data driven solutions.

•       Provide code review, and provide documentation in support thereof, to Client.

•       Create and provide documents in support of this deliverable to include updated versions of design, process flow diagram, API specification, and error description.

•       Develop, test the code to modify existing architecture and make necessary changes to the system interfaces; and provide Object and Source Code to Client, in accordance with Client standards utilizing Client source and Object Code libraries and Configuration Management procedures.

Required Skills

•       5-7 Years of experience using Microsoft SQL server 2005 & 2008.

•       5-7 years of experience in developing stored procedures and functions, designing and creating schemas, and fine tune existing code.

•       3-5 Years of experience in developing SQL code in replication environment, and proved experience in developing high performance code for high trafficking online ordering system.

•       Minimum 3 years of experience in developing and deploying SSIS Packages.

•       Should have strong verbal and written communication skills; team player with coordination skills; possess mentoring, coordinating, analytical, and problem solving skills.

•       Should have Bachelors/ Master’s Degree in Computer science, having Microsoft certification is an added advantage.

•       Having prior experience with Client products is added advantage.

Desired Skills

MS SQL 2005 & 2008, SSIS, version control (TFS), SFTP.

Sub-contracting is permitted.

Any previous Client assignments shown in the resume must indicate if it was as a Client employee or contract employee.

Qualifications

Education an Experience

5+ years of Technical experiences, Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience plus MS certificate in DB administration.

Requires strong oral and written communication skills
